Pot feet are essential for pots that are placed on a flat surface (footpath,tarmac etc). During the winter months pots will fill with rain and will not drain properly, when water freezes it expands and a pot will brake – pot feet help with drainage by keeping the pot up off the ground.
3 Pot feet per round pot, 4 pot feet per square pot, is adequate for stability.
